Yesterday we began our topic on Film in our English Class. We were required to write a glossary on cinematic techniques.
While we were doing this I learn't about two cinematic techniques, diegetic sound and Non diegetic sound. These are the sounds that come from films, diegetic sounds being those that are being filmed on set and aren't recorded in a studio.
Non diegetic sounds are those that aren't recorded on set and are recorded on set.
