Throughout NZ lock down we have begun our online classes with almost all of our teachers, so this is what we have been doing for Social Studies.
Our newest topic that has been given to us has been about 'Leadership and Government.' We were required to complete 4 tasks about what we knew and understood regarding these types of topics.
Some of the questions included, What makes a leader? How does government work (Or the system of government)? What is local government and why is it important? And a couple of others.
I found it most interesting to write about what makes a leader and who we think of as a leader because there were many people I could think of.
Excellent description of what you are studying in Social Studies. I like how you mentioned you found it interesting to write about what makes a leader. Keep up the great work and keep smiling.
ReplyDeleteHi Malia, a very well written blog. It’s good to see what students are doing and it’s always good to see that they find the work interesting. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteHi Malia
ReplyDeleteI'm Shanaya from Room 5 Kawakawa primary school
I like how you listed the questions that you had to answer so that the people that read your blog can understand.
In Room 5 we are doing something called 'Create your own country' in groups or pairs which then we will have a election for students in our class.
What were some of your answers?
Sincerely
- Shanaya
